Analysis - LSR-II  (guidelines/specs)

The goal and mission of the Center for Pediatric Biomedical Research flow facility is to develop, validate and implement polychromatic flow cytometric protocols to support and enrich the research programs of CPBR faculty. This flow facility will focus on the development of experimental and unique protocols to breach previously unexplored avenues of experimentation with flow cytometry.

The CPBR Flow Cytometry Facility is located in the MRBX 1-11314. Activities within the Flow Facility are directed by Tim Bushnell.  Phone: 585-273-5535 or (preferred) email. You can reach the technicians, Dave and Matt at 3-1361.

Registration for instrument time must be done on-line in order to schedule resources -- please be sure to include a telephone number so that we can contact you should there be a problem.

Special Note:  Aria users must fill out the Aria Sort Form - this is critical to ensure the machine is ready for use.  Failure to submit the sort form will result in your reservation being canceled .


NEW in the CPBR FLOW LAB:

Welcome to Matt Balys. With the addition of Matt to the staff, we are now able to offer evening sorting options.  Our available sort time now starts at 10 am and runs straight through to 9 pm! 

Image Stream - With the support of the SIG 1 S10 RR023458-01A1 (Craig Jordan, PI), the Imagestream has been upgraded to a 3-laser insturment with the EDF element. Please email Tim for training and experimental design questions.

High throughput sampler (HTS) for the LSR-II. The HTS accepts 96 well plates and loads samples automatically. Contact Tim for details.

Additional PMT's have been installed, bringing the system to 12-color. See the LSR-II page for details.
