Payment and Delivery Options

  • Most journals articles are now available through electronic delivery. This method is faster, and saves a trip to the Library. Patrons selecting electronic delivery must charge the loan to an account number or choose Bill Me under payment information.
  • If you select Bill Me you will be billed monthly for all requests. You can send a check to Miner Library or pay with cash at Bibby or Miner. However, you cannot transfer the balance on the bill to an account.
  • If you are paying with an account number, the account that you entered will appear in the drop down box. You can add or remove accounts by following the instructions above.
  • If you select Cash as the payment option, you must also choose Hold For Pickup at Miner Circ as your delivery option. You will be required to pay for the article when you pickup your article at Miner Library.

Fees for interlibrary loans are as follows:

  • $5 for Faculty and Staff
  • $3 for Residents
  • No charge if the item is from another University of Rochester Library

If you are paying with a grant or account number you must have this number on record in ILLiad at the time of your request. You can add the account number when setting up your initial profile, or at any time after you have established an ILLiad account. To add an account number:

  • Log on to ILLiad using your user name and password
  • Scroll down to review personal information
  • Select edit user accounts
  • Enter the account number in the designated field and click Add Account. Be sure to enter the entire account number.

For assistance in setting up your account and requesting materials, please stop into the library and see Pam or Beth. We have found ILLiad to be very efficient and we know you will like it too!
