Blackboard Issue - Problem with Submit Button in IE8

Problem

Blackboard has a problem with Internet Explorer 8 in that some timed test "Submit" & "Save" buttons are being blocked with a malformed timer applet. The problem ussually appears as seen in this image:

Solution

Users (using IE8) can resolve this issue by clicking "Tools - Compatibility View", or by adding "*.rochester.edu" to their compatibility view sites under "Tools - Compatibility View Settings" as seen here:

The timer applet should now appear properly and access to the "Submit" & "Save" buttons should be normal as shown here:
