Cardiology

The Cardiovascular Group of the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Health is dedicated to the triple missions of the University; state of the art clinical care, high quality teaching of students and health care professions at all levels and cutting edge basic and clinical research. By building on the strengths of both the university community and the university hospital environment, we believe we are uniquely poised to excel in each of these arenas.

A major component of our efforts also centers on the training of students, residents, and cardiology clinical and research fellows. By utilizing a full time academic faculty with significant research interests and abilities and the clinical and research resources of the University and the Hospital, we are able to provide training programs that produce well rounded clinical and research cardiologists.
