Dr. Alec O'Connor is an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine and Medicine Pediatrics residencies and Associate Residency Program Director for Inpatient Services. He is also co-chair of the Strong Health Therapeutics Committee, the pharmacy and therapeutics committee serving both Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital.
His research interests include resident and student education, opioid pain management of hospitalized and emergency patients, neuropathic pain, and the costs and cost- effectiveness of pharmacotherapy.
