Dr. Valerie Lang focuses on medical education research for students. She is currently developing a web-based program to teach and assess clinical reasoning. She has also developed and evaluated an educational program focusing on the hazards of hospitalization for older adults. She collaborated with Dr. O'Connor on two projects regarding the use of opiates for pain control in inpatients.
