Dr. William Novak has a joint appointment in the HMD and the Infectious Diseases Division. His research interests involve clinical trials of anti-infective agents. His current activities include comparisons of antifungal agents for invasive candidiasis, antifungal therapy for refractory fungal infection, comparing clinical outcomes for pneumonia antibiotic regimens, dosing antibiotics in critically-ill patients, and evaluating a Staphylococcal aureus vaccine in healthy volunteers. |
