ClearView-CSm employs a four slot imaging plate (IP) cassette stacker with capacity to process up to 20 screening mammography exams per hour from as many as three exam rooms.  For the price of one reader, this multi-room capability will enable a three-room mammography department to take advantage of the benefits digital mammography has to offer without replacing existing mammography equipment. Both ClearView readers can also process conventional FCR imaging plates used for general radiography, processing more than 100 per hour.  This multi-tasking capability further reduces costs for medical facilities by eliminating the need to purchase separate mammography and general x-ray CR readers.

HP is a technology solutions provider to consumers, businesses and institutions globally. The company's offerings span IT infrastructure, global services, business and home computing, and imaging and printing. Because medical information is growing exponentially year after year, effective archiving has become an imperative for healthcare enterprises.  High end disk array systems are essential for the most critical information but may not be cost effective for infrequently accessed images and records. The HP Medical Archiving Solution is designed to address your most pressing information issues—simply, flexibly, and affordably. MAS is a complete solution comprised of hardware(disks), software, and services.  It incorporates industry-standard application programming interfaces so the solution connects directly to your existing PACS and patient record systems.  Because MAS is implemented in a storage grid architecture, you can consolidate information from multiple applications, departments and facilities into a single storage system for all fixed content.  A built-in rules engine allows you to create policies for moving information from higher tiers of storage to the medical archive automatically, based on time, data classification, frequency of access, or other parameters. MAS gives hospitals fast, reliable access to their archived data, at a price point dramatically below high end, Tier 1 storage.

As imaging technology makes the transition from a film-based to a film-less PACS environment, the design of reading rooms with light boxes and alternators is changing to one of workstations with computer consoles and high luminance monitors. The ergonomics of each are seldom interchangeable. The redesign of reading rooms to provide optimized soft-copy viewing is the most frequently overlooked aspect when considering the expense of converting to PACS. A RedRick solution can help ensure your reading room is designed to meet the needs of this evolving technology. Every workspace is unique. As a result, every reading room solution should be created to meet the specific needs of your workspace and environment. Each RedRick solution is custom configured to meet the particular needs of your reading room. Our solution begins with your vision. From here, our architectural design team will assess the physical space, workflow, ergonomics, lighting and acoustics to ensure that every solution optimizes the working environment. The result is a reading room designed with the raiologist in mind. Our ComfortView height-adjustable workstations are built to individual preferences, complimenting the workflow and ergonomics of the radiology reading room. "If you can imagine it, we can design and build it!"
