As healthcare institutions move towards a paperless and film-less environment, the exponential growth of digital information presents new challenges for managing the total cost of storage technology considering the mandated regulations regarding retention of information, accessability, security and privacy. This seminar will discuss options to cost-effectively address these challenges. As part of this presentation a case study from a healthcare institution that has introduced methods to control cost while adhering to the mandated privacy and security regulations and maintaing the accessability to the healthcare information will be presented. |
