The University of Rochester's Department of Microbiology and Immunology has been awarded several highly competitive training grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). These training grants provide for specific educational and training opportunities, as well as stipend support, for Microbiology and Immunology Ph.D. students working in the areas of Immunology, Microbial Pathogenesis, Oral Microbiology, and HIV Pathogenesis.
