Participation in Journal Club: All participates are required to attend the journal club as frequently as possible (please do not only come when you think the article looks interesting) and asked to sign up for a presentation slot (see Jill/Jason).

Selection of article: The only stipulation is that the article be a cellular or molecular developmental paper.

Circulation of article: Please circulate your article to the members of the journal club 5-7 days prior to your presentation via email as a PDF. If the article you wish to present is only available as a hard copy, you may speak to Hermes regarding defraying the cost of photocopies through the Dev. NSC Training Grant. If you do not have an updated email list for circulation of your article, you may email it to Jill and she will circulate it.

Presentation Day: There will be a LCD projector and an overhead projector available to you. Please keep in mind when preparing your presentation that not all of the members of the journal club are developmental neuroscientists so careful attention should be given to the preparation of your background material. Presenters are encouraged to bring snacks the day of their presentation.
