June 26-28, 2008

The Rochester Oral Biology Research Conference will provide several abstract awards to students and/or postdoctoral fellows.  Awardees are required to present a poster at the conference on Friday, June 27th. Abstract awards will be made in the amount of $350.

Abstracts to be considered for an award are due by March 1st. Submissions after March 1st will not be considered for an award, and will be accepted based on available poster space.

A committee will review all abstracts and determine who will receive the awards.  Award recipients will be notified April 15th.

Abstract Requirements

The word limit for abstracts is 300 words. Titles are limited to 10 words or less. Titles, authors and authors' affiliations are not included in the 300 word limit. The abstract must contain a brief statement of:

  1. The objectives of the investigation,
  2. Experimental methods used,
  3. Essential results, including data and, where appropriate, statistics,
  4. Conclusion

Poster Boards are 40" x 60". Students posters should be a bit smaller than that.
