The University of Rochester Alzheimer's Disease Center (RADC) is one of 27 federally funded Alzheimer's Disease Centers in the United States. All 27 centers are devoted to finding more effective ways of treating Alzheimer's disease through basic and clinical research. All Centers, including that at the University of Rochester, have a group of Alzheimer's patients who participate in research and from whom data is collected. Each Center collects core data which is shared among Centers. Each Center also develops additional information which reflects the particular expertise and theoretical orientation of that Center.
