George S. Nasra, MS, MD, MBA
Dr. George S. Nasra is a professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the BHP medical director. He received his M.D. degree from the American University in Beirut, Lebanon and completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Nasra has been a practicing psychiatrist since 1994. During that time he has maintained a private practice of psychotherapy and medication management for more than 15 years. Dr. Nasra has also worked as medical director of the Behavioral Health in Primary Care Program and most recently as the medical director of acute psychiatric services at Unity Health System. Dr. Nasra has Board certifications in General Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Psychosomatic Medicine. He is passionate about quality and providing a personalized approach to patient care and treatment.
Shahida Rehmani, MD
Dr. Shahida Rehmani completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Rehmani has extensive experience with both children and adults. She has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in a number of outpatient and residential settings, with individuals with developmental disabilities, and with adults being treated for chemical dependency. Dr. Rehmani has been affiliated with the University of Rochester since her fellowship in 2001, and has been involved with teaching and supervising medical students and fellows. She has a very small outpatient practice as well.
Lynn Wasserbauer, PhD, NP
Dr. Lynn Wasserbauer obtained her PhD in Nursing and graduate training as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Virginia. She earned her BSN and MSN in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Rochester. Dr. Wasserbauer has worked as a nurse practitioner at the University of Rochester Medical Center since 1999 and has extensive experience caring for individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. Her areas of expertise are in adult and geriatric psychopharmacology, as well as counseling families in crisis. She has also taught nursing and has a special interest in nursing history.
Catherine Donovan, BA, BSN, RN
Catherine Donovan is the registered nurse for Behavioral Health Partners. She obtained her BA in psychology and BS in nursing from the University of Rochester. She has been a nurse since 2011 and previously worked in inpatient psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Catherine’s clinical interests include working toward the elimination of mental health stigma and providing excellent patient and family centered care.
