In the past week, so many people have asked us how they can help. Our family has been deeply moved by your thoughtful expressions and kind offers of food, flowers, and other assistance. Rather than ask you to help us, we’d like to suggest that you consider making a gift in Brad’s name to the Kessler Family Burn/Trauma ICU, the unit that has provided remarkable care to Brad immediately after his accident. Funds collected will be used to help many other families like ours whose loved ones are recovering from serious accidents. Your generosity will touch our hearts as well as theirs. Thank you.

The Berk family has been touched by the overwhelming number of messages posted to this website or sent to URMC administration. “We are making every effort to share each message with Brad. Please know that your kindness is deeply felt and appreciated,” said wife Mary Berk.

We would like to thank our friends, family and the community for their thoughts, prayers and their continued support. We are so grateful for the excellent care we've received from the doctors, nurses and staff at the Medical Center. In lieu of flowers and cards, food and gifts, please leave messages on the Web site. We are reading these messages to him and we know they will be a continued source of inspiration and encouragement.
