Additional Tumor Receptors
Project Overview
Using bioinformatics tools, we have identified a gene signature whose expression correlates with the aggressiveness of metastasis. Many of the genes within this signature are receptors, which most likely involve in the tumor-microenvironment interactions during metastasis. We plan to perform small scale of screens using cDNA and RNAi libraries to identify the genes that are important for metastasis. Their functions during metastasis will be further investigated.
