Colds and Flu
At the first sign of a cold or flu, notify the transplant team. It is especially important to inform the team of temperatures greater that 101°F, sore throat, cough, sputum, skin rashes, or burning when urinating. Do not treat yourself unless directed to do so by your health care provider. We recommend that you have a flu shot if you are at least one-year post-transplant.
