Head & Neck Cancer Care

Head and Neck Cancer Diagnostics

The Wilmot Cancer Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center provides the region’s most advanced and extensive tools for the diagnosis and staging of head and neck cancer.

  • In-clinic ultrasound
  • Ultrasound-guided needle biopsies
  • Diagnostic laryngoscopy
  • Cytopathology services
  • State of the art imaging services including PET scans, CT scans and MRI
  • Fine needle aspirations
  • Molecular diagnostics

All of these diagnostic tools are available right within the Medical Center. As a result, our patients do not need to visit multiple locations for diagnosis and treatment.
