American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
This scientific society has over 19,000 laboratory and clinical cancer researchers. It’s mission is to:
- acilitate communication and dissemination of knowledge among scientists and others dedicated to the cancer problem
- Foster research in cancer and related biomedical sciences
- Encourage presentation and discussion of new and important observations in the field
- Foster public education, science education, and training
- Advance the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.
American College of Radiology
This is the principal organization of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and clinical medical physicists in the United States. The society's purpose is to improve service to the patient, advance the science of radiology, study the socioeconomic aspects of radiology practice and encourage continuing education. This is the largest and most prestigious professional association of immunologists in the world. More information
Clinical Immunology Society
This society promotes research on the causes and mechanisms of diseases relating to the immune system by facilitating the interchange of ideas and information among members.
