While our clinic’s patients are older, many of them go on to live long, active lives after we care for them. That is why we have a special interest in survivorship—helping people live the best possible lives after cancer.
We are the region’s top resource for teaching seniors how to live well after cancer. We show our patients the best ways to stay healthy, remain independent and return to active, productive lives.
We also actively collaborate with other research institutes on ways to improve cancer survivorship in older adults. Our research studies are examining ways to improve physical health, cognition and nutrition. Through this research, we hope to provide older adults with even better ways to stay healthy, vigorous and active.
