Lab Arrangements and Requests
-
How do I make arrangements for labs?
-
When conducting a laboratory session for a medical school course, faculty members must first obtain a lab packet for their course. This packet requests all required information regarding the laboratory activity that you are planning for your course including, but is not limited to:
-
A description of the laboratory activity
-
Room set-up requirements
-
Chemicals
-
Consumables
-
Equipment
-
Media and cultures
-
Who orders and pays laboratory materials for courses?
-
Laboratory materials for undergraduate medical school courses are ordered and paid for by the CEL, unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that faculty members should discuss details of course plans/needs with CEL staff to be sure that sufficient funds are available for these activities.
-
When do I need to make these arrangements?
-
Laboratory arrangements need to be made at least 10 days prior to the activity dates.
