Omalizumab: Targeting IgE in Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:
1. Understand that chronic idiopathic urticaria is often very difficult to treat, and many patients do not respond to second generation antihistamines.
2. Omalizumab has been shown to significantly decrease the symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria in patients who have failed anti-histamine therapy.

Tofacatinib: The Benefits and the Perils of Oral Small Molecule Inhibitors for RA
