"Issues and Considerations in Oral Health for Children and Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders"
Presented by A. Hakan Tuncer, DDS, Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester and Caroline I. Magyar, Ph.D., Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, University of Rochester
Participants will learn about the oral health care needs of children and youth with autism, strategies for improved oral health and how to transition to adult dentistry.

This workshop will provide participants with information on how to identify and access social services for children and youth with an autism spectrum disorder. Topics will include an overview of various social service systems, procedures for applying for social services, and eligibility criteria.
