Agency Webinar Series: Level 1 Aging and Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
- January 2012 through June 2012
- Objectives for Series: To increase each participating agency’s aging capacity by developing a core of staff with
- basic knowledge of aging in adults with IDD
- understanding of the impact of the physical environment and sensory stimuli on quality of life of adults with IDD
- knowledge of potential adverse effects and interactions of medications on adults with IDD
- increased skills for health care advocacy
- awareness of the need for differential diagnosis in adults with Down syndrome to avoid misdiagnosis and optimize health
- increased understanding of medical implications as adults with IDD age and recommended follow-up to maintain quality of care

Registration and Payment
- Register online using our registration form
- Payment for PADD trainings must be received 1 week prior to conference or workshop date in order for online registration to be valid.
- PADD uses the GoToWebinar system. After registering for a session with PADD, you will receive a link via email to register online with GoToWebinar. Next, the GoToWebinar system will send you a confirmation email containing a unique link to join the Webinar on the scheduled day.
