  • Experience of Adolecents Diagnosed with Cancer: The experiences of adolescents diagnosed with cancer was chronicalled in their own words and experiences using self-paced videodiaries. Their experiences were examined using qualitative methods.

  • Behavior and Food Refusal in Children with Autism: Analysis of the Autism Treatment Network data on feeding habits was related to data on both intake and other behaviors. She was co author of a paper on food intake in children with autism.

    A secondary data analysis of data collected at Starlight Pediatrics and in Syracuse was performed. She also helped w/our qualitative interviews, and helped to co-author a paper, Latino Foster Parent Health Perceptions of Chronic Conditions: a Qualitative Exploration. Mentor: Sandra Jee, M.D., M.P.H.

  • Community playability scan to assess the safety and inviting nature of community sites for children to play in
    This student measured/assessed playgrounds and parks but also other sites like vacant lot and dead end streets where children would come to play in the city. Her work and involvement with the community obesity coalition was very instrumental in preparation of a community report.
