Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD) Short-Term Intensive Training Each year we provide time-limited intensive training to a school district, agency, or group who demonstrates a need for targeted training in an area related to the assessment and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Examples of past training activities include (a) assisting a school district to set up several school-based teams to develop comprehensive support plans for school-age students with ASD to improve participation in the general education setting, (b) assisting a group of developmental agencies to increase their knowledge of effective ASD supports and interventions, (c) assisting a group of transition specialists to increase their knowledge of practice considerations for assessing and supporting transition-age students with ASD, and (d) assisting a group of parents to improve their knowledge and skill in coordinating care for their child with ASD.
