  • The Institute for Innovative Transition has received a $2.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education for Transition for Postsecondary Students with Intellectual Disabilities. This grant will increase the post high school opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities.
  • In September 252 athletes were screened in 7 different disciplines at a Healthy Athletes event sponsored by SCDD, the Golisano Foundation, and Special Olympics New York–Genesee Region. This followed 38 clinical directors being trained in the 7 disciplines in a day-long train the trainer event.
