  • The Advocacy Center is in Rochester, New York. The Advocacy Center provides consumer-driven services to support people with disabilities and their families in achieving their goals. Through information-sharing, individual advocacy support independent service coordination and educational workshops, They advance people's knowledge of resources and help them to build life-long advocacy skills. Our leadership development programs prepare individuals to help others as volunteer lay advocates, to influence policy and to promote understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities.

  • The Museum of disABILITY History is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and display of artifacts pertaining to the history of people with disabilities. Located in Buffalo, NY, and on the World Wide Web, the Museum offers educational exhibits and activities that expand community awareness. The Museum of disABILITY History is now open to the public.   • Regional Center for Independent Living (RCIL) assists people with all types of disabilities who want the opportunity to live independently and be active members of the community. Our core services include Information Referrals, Peer Support, Independent Living Skills Training, and Advocacy.
  • Special Olympics is where athletes with intellectual disabilities celebrate and are celebrated for their accomplishments.
  • Spina Bifida Association of Western, New York mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families affected by spina bifida in the eight-county Western New York community by providing education, information, social support, recreation and advocacy services and linkages to other relevant service providers.
