Summer Festival, Jeans Day Help Kids
Fairport Music and Food Festival Set for August 28
End the summer right by coming down to the heart of Fairport for the sixth annual Fairport Music and Food Festival from noon to dusk Saturday, Aug. 28. The festival, which benefits Golisano Children's Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center, is entirely community-driven, with volunteers of all ages stepping in to do their part. The festival at Lift Bridge Lane is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Kids 12 and younger will get in free. For more information, visit www.fairportmusicfestival. com. Dress Down for Kids Miracle Jeans Day
Get the whole office on board to participate in Children's Miracle Network's Miracle Jeans Day, a dress down day to help ill and injured children in your area. Proceeds from participating groups in the Rochester area will benefit Golisano Children's Hospital. Registration starts at $5 per person.
