Pediatric HIV Program

Our Pediatric HIV Program, designated by New York State as a Pediatric HIV/AIDS Center, is dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care to children living with HIV and their families.

Our team includes doctors, a nurse practitioner, a research nurse, a social worker, and a community outreach worker.

Highlights of our medical care program include:

The Pediatric HIV Program is actively involved in medical research to find better means of treating and preventing HIV infection and related infections. We offer the most modern, state-of-the-art therapies for HIV-infected children and pregnant women through our work with the National Institutes of Health.

In addition to medical care and research, we provide a variety of family and child-centered assistance, including emergency funds for shelter, food, transportation, and household necessities for HIV-infected children and families.
