ATS Study Testing Potassium and Acetazolamide
| Purpose | The purpose of this study is to determine if potassium and/or acetazolamide change muscle weakness and heart rate abnormalities in people with ATS. Both of these medicines have been used safely in humans to treat a variety of conditions. By conducting this study, the investigators will obtain information that will help: * Determine whether potassium and/or acetazolamide change your own skeletal, muscle, and/or heart function * Develop the experience necessary to perform future studies of drugs that might help people with ATS | |||
