Compliance Liaison Functions

The Compliance Liaison champions departmental compliance activities. In conjunction with the assigned compliance analyst/educator, the Liaison assumes responsibility to: 

  • Raise and maintain compliance awareness;
  • Identify and address risk areas;
  • Support a proactive approach toward investigation and resolving potential compliance issues;
  • Communicate information on compliance priorities to department faculty and staff;
  • Plan and implement department education programs and training sessions;
  • Assist in drafting department guidelines;
  • Develop effective auditing/monitoring plans;
  • Refer issues to and collaborate with the Compliance Officer.
