Compliance Liaison Functions
The Compliance Liaison champions departmental compliance activities. In conjunction with the assigned compliance analyst/educator, the Liaison assumes responsibility to:
- Raise and maintain compliance awareness;
- Identify and address risk areas;
- Support a proactive approach toward investigation and resolving potential compliance issues;
- Communicate information on compliance priorities to department faculty and staff;
- Plan and implement department education programs and training sessions;
- Assist in drafting department guidelines;
- Develop effective auditing/monitoring plans;
- Refer issues to and collaborate with the Compliance Officer.
