Research:

Health services research on aging and long term care.

OVERVIEW
The major emphases in my research over many years have been on health services for chronic illnesses and disability, particularly those of the aging population, in the areas of nursing home care, home care and care (case) management. A number of the studies I have directed or been involved in have been randomized controlled trials of interventions designed to improve care and health outcomes of community residing disabled and chronically ill older adults.
