OVERVIEW
|
University focus is on development
of comprehensive network services for provision of continuous,
quality services for Strong Health populations. Activities center
on risk and utilization management; infrastructure development;
and development of innovative means for seamless transition of
patient care populations across sites of care. Provision of teaching
and consultation services to hospitals, health systems, and professional
organizations throughout the United States centering on development
of interdisciplinary case management models for hospital settings;
care management across integrated health care systems; and organizational
design and enhancement through optimum structure, process and
leadership.
Recipient of: Society of Social Work Leadership of the American
Hospital Association Administrator of the Year Award for distinguished
leadership (1996) and the Hyman J. Weiner Award for Exemplary
Teaching and Leadership (2001). Serves as a member of the Editorial
Board, Social Work and Health Care. Member, Board of Directors,
Alternatives for Battered Women: Advisory Board, Greater Rochester
Collaborative Master of Social Work Program: Advisory Board,
Human Services Advisory Committee, Monroe Community College. |
