Faculty involved in teaching medical students and residents have a need to improve their teaching techniques and to understand new concepts in learning. These workshops have been developed to foster those learning techniques and also to gain a better understanding of mentoring and academic career development. After attending a workshop, participants will gain new ideas regarding teaching and learning from the lecture hall to the bedside; develop strategies for mentoring and academic career planning; and better assess learners' educational needs and objectives. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.
To register for any of the workshops below, contact the Office of the Associate Dean for Faculty Development – Medical Education at (585) 276-3782 or via email at faculty_development@urmc.rochester.edu.
