Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan service (ILL) provides articles and books that are not owned by the Bibby or Miner Libraries. This service is only available to faculty, staff, residents, and students of the University of Rochester. You may equest items through ILLiad, the library's automated document delivery service.

• It takes about 2-4 days to fill article requests.
• Cost per item is $5 for faculty/staff/postdoc, $3 for residents, and $2 for students.
• Payment may be made with cash or check, a grant/account number, or you may choose to be billed.

Please note: for the fastest response when using ILLiad, select the options for electronic delivery with payment to be billed.

Photocopier

A University of Rochester valid ID card, a UR departmental account card, a debit card or a visitor copy card is required to use the photocopier. Visitor copy cards may be purchased from library staff.

Copy Service

The library staff will photocopy materials owned by the library for a fee of $5 per item. Please see a staff member for assistance or Ask a Librarian.
