Borrowing Policies

· Books -- 14 days
· Closed Reserve -- 2 days
· Bound Journals -- 7 days
· Unbound Journals -- Do not circulate
· Reference Materials– Do not circulate

Renew a Book or Journal

· View your account
· Check for fines

Materials can be renewed online through the library catalog (UR ID required), in person, or by phone, up to a maximum of five consecutive times (unless reserved by another patron). If an item you need is already checked out, you may place a hold on it to be notified when it is returned.

Fines

· Overdue items accrue 20¢/day
· Reserve items accrue 75¢/hour
· Recalled items accrue $1.00/day

Two overdue notices are sent before billing you for replacement. If you have $15.00 or more in overdue fees, or if your items are more than one month overdue, your library privileges may be suspended.
