Orthognathic surgery, Facial Trauma, Dento-Alveolar Surgery & Dental Implants, Cleft/Craniofacial Surgery and Surgical Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

OVERVIEW

After attending the University of Rochester for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Fantuzzo was educated in both Dentistry and Medicine and went on to complete residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University at Buffalo.  He subsequently served as Pediatric Craniofacial Fellow at the Posnick Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Georgetown University Hospital.  As assistant professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Eastman Department of Dentistry and the University of Rochester Medical Center his practice is limited to the care of children and adults with problems in the Oral and Maxillofacial region.  His general approach is to provide patients and families with information they need to be active members of the decision making process allowing them to make the best possible choices to meet their medical, dental and social needs. Research interests focus on Orthognathic (jaw) and Cleft/Craniofacial issues.
