OVERVIEW

Dr. Kopycka-Kedzierawski’s research focuses on caries risk assessment in children. She is interested in risk factors associated with caries onset. To describe caries onset, she applies different modeling techniques which are seldom used in dentistry, such as survival analysis, Markov models and stochastic processes. Currently she is involved in the research project on racial disparities in oral health.
