RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Infectious periodontal biofilms and host immunity; Cellular and molecular mechanisms of periodontal pathogenesis in humans; identify and study important microbial virulence factors involved in human periodontics; Develop new markers for clincal periodontal diagnosis and treatment outcomes; Develop new reagents for periodontal therapy; develop new animal models for studying periodontal pathogenesis; infectious periodontal biofilms in diabetes and its clinical complications; infectious periodontal biofilms and its clinical diagnosis.
