To advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health.

Rochester Section Mission Statement
The major goal of the Rochester section of AADR is to promote the mission of AADR on a local level. This section encourages communication and cooperation among scientists, students and clinicians of the oral health research community at Rochester to promote the advancement of knowledge for the improvement of oral health.
In addition, we promote the Annual Research Day to provide an opportunity for presentation and discussion of scientific reports conducted by local students and investigators at basic, translational and clinical levels
Award Background
Basil
G. Bibby Award
A $150 award will be given for outstanding scientific
merit among presentations by non-degree candidates including
technical personnel, residents, and international students
Michael G. Buonocore Award
A $150 award will be given for outstanding scientific
merit among presentations by degree candidates in Masters
programs
The Chairs Award
A $150 award will be given for outstanding scientific merit
among presentations by degree candidates in PhD and postdoctoral
programs
