Workshops

DHIMS 2008 will feature three types of workshops in a separate area of the Exhibit Hall to provide additional "hands-on" experience supporting the theme of the DHIMS 2008 Conference, "Getting Connected in Radiology...Interoperability & Workflow." The workshops will include:

• Interoperability Demonstrations — where two or more exhibitors demonstrate that their combined hardware and software application can interoperate to provide a solution to one of the many challenges facing the digital healthcare enterprise today.
• Integrated Clinical Application Workstation Workshop — where a single exhibitor provides the attendees the opportunity to operate their workstation that features the RIS and PACS integrated plus one or more other integrated applications.
• Advanced Visualization Workstation Workshop — will provide attendees an opportunity to process and display large data sets on an exhibitor's workstation that may be a stand-alone workstation or operate in a client-server relationship.
