| Demand Control Schema Instructional Films
Robyn Dean, M.A., CI/CT has produced a sequence of four films that teach the basics of the Demand Control Schema for Interpreting Work (DC-S). Each of the ~25 minute films feature animated graphics and Robyn Dean's own narration.
DC-S is a helpful framework for students and working interpreters to appreciate the many factors, or "demands," that impact the work of interpreters. These four introductory films (see titles below) are available for on-line viewing and, for those who desire to use them in an instructional setting, come with associated homework exercises and quizzes - all available on-line. A payment of $20 provides you with a password that allows access to all four videos and the related educational materials. There are additional fees if you wish to engage Ms. Dean for quiz grading or other instructional consultation. Volume discounts for classroom use are available. For further information, contact Robyn Dean .
