Seminars & Workshops

2013-2014 Diversity Seminar Series

Light refreshments included

This year's Diversity Seminar Series included an associated series of workshops on Advancing Women in Science and Medicine. In the fall they were integrated into the regular Diversity Seminar Series and, like all other Diversity workshops, were designated for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. See below for more information.

Note also that each year's Diversity Seminar Series includes the annual Tana A. Grady-Weliky, MD, Lecture on Women and Diversity in Medicine. The lecture honors the memory of Dr. Grady-Weliky, former University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Senior Associate Dean for Education and Department of Psychiatry faculty member.

Please note that there is also a Faculty Development Workshop series sponsored by the Office for Faculty Development that includes a range of topics relevant to the educational mission of the Medical Center. We welcome the participation of all faculty, students and residents at both types of events.
