Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the workshop, the participant will:
- Identify the components of a teaching encounter that promote learning in a clinical setting.
- Describe a practical 5 step model (the "one minute preceptor") for clinical teaching.
- List specific ways to overcome barriers and realistically implement teachable moments into a variety of clinical settings.
