2011-2012 Diversity Seminar Series
The next 2011-2012 Diversity Seminar Series event will feature a panel discussion entitled "Breadwinner and Breadmaker: Changing Roles of Women in Medicine" at 8:00 AM on January 24, 2012. Guest panelists are Carol Diachun, MD, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, and Elizabeth J. Santos, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Discussion will be moderated by Linda Chaudron MD, MS, Sr. Associate Dean for Diversity. Seminar will be conducted in the Natapow Room (1-9545) at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. All are welcome to attend, but registration is required. Meet the University of Rochester's 2011-2012 Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Fellow
Susan McDaniel, PhD is a Fellow in the 2011-2012 Class of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program for Women.
Dr. McDaniel is the Dr Laurie Sands Distinguished Professor of Families & Health. She is Director of the Institute for the Family in the Department of Psychiatry, and Associate Chair of the Department of Family Medicine, at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she has been since beginning her career in 1980.
