Welcome to Women & Diversity

Our mission is to help recruit and support faculty to contribute to an institution that embodies excellence in education, patient care, research and community health. Faculty diversity is essential to achieve true excellence - incorporating the talents, perspectives and backgrounds of individuals from different races, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, sexual orientation and religions. Created in 2006, the Office of the Senior Associate Dean for Diversity works closely with the Office for Faculty Development and the University’s Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity.
