The Dermatology outpatient facility is located in the hospital's ambulatory care center, which opened in 1996. There are seven examination rooms, five state-of-the-art surgical procedure rooms, a clinical trials unit, and a phototherapy unit. Residents have their own offices—with dedicated computers—and a study area at the outpatient facility, where most of their time is spent. An electronic medical records system is used.
