Atif A. Chowdhry, M.D.
Atif attended the University of Ottawa where he majored in Biology. He began medical school in Oradea, Romania and then transferred to Saba University in the Netherlands-Antilles, so that he could do his clinical rotations in the US. He spent his third and fourth years of medical school doing clinical rotations in various cities throughout the US, including Shreveport, NYC, Baltimore, and Utica. Atif currently lives in Canada.

Nancy attended SUNY Geneseo, then completed a Master's degree in exercise science at SUNY Buffalo. She went on to medical school SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn where she further developed her interest in different cultures. She has traveled to the United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Kenya. Nancy currently lives in Rochester, NY.
Peter E. Hoffman, M.D.

Peter was born in a small town called The Dalles, Oregon and moved to Portland, Oregon during early high school. He did his undergraduate work at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and returned to Portland for medical school at the Oregon Health and Science University. He decided to pursue residency training one year after finishing medical school. Peter currently lives and works in Oregon.
Helen C. Ireland, M.D.

Helen is originally from England, but moved around a lot as a child. She majored in biology and psychology at Colby College in Maine before attending medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. During school she spent two months practicing medicine in a public hospital in Botswana. Helen currently lives and works in Maine.

Kenya was born in the Bronx, and grew up on Long Island. She went to college at Clark Atlanta University and attended medical school at the University Of Rochester School Of Medicine. She stayed here to obtain her Master's degree in Public Health. Kenya currently lives in Rochester, NY.
Kirk A. Scirto, M.D.
University at Buffalo School of Medicine
Kirk grew up outside of Lockport, NY, and then studied political science/health and society at the University of Rochester. He developed a passion for promoting social justice, human rights, and public health, especially in an international context. He attended SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and did clinical/public health work in Uganda, Jamaica, Mexico, and El Salvador. Kirk currently lives and works in Puerto Rico.
Kingsley C. Ugorji, M.B.B.S.

Kingsley grew up in a small city called Bamenda in North West province of Cameroon. After high school he moved back to his home country, Nigeria, where he attended the University of Ibadan for his medical education. He started training in Obstetrics/Gynecology in Nigeria before moving to Dublin, Ireland, where he had further training in OB/Gyn and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Kingsley currently lives and works in Spokane, Washington.
Bradley VanHeukelum, M.D.

After growing up in and around Rochester, NY, Brad went away to Cedarville University in Ohio for undergraduate studies. He moved to Cincinnati, OH for medical school and became interested in international health because of two mission trips to Gambia, West Africa. Brad currently lives and works in Rochester, NY.
