Class of 2011
Twenty residents completed training in June 2011. Their career plans are diverse:
- Four are current Chief Residents in our program; after Chief Residency, their career plans include:
- Primary Care (2)
- Cardiology Fellowship - University of Colorado
- Infectious Diseases Fellowship - University of North Carolina
- Six have gone directly into subspecialty fellowship
in:
- Allergy/Immunology - University of Iowa
- Cardiology - University of Florida
- Cardiology - University of Rochester
- Gastroenterology - University of Rochester
- Hematology/Oncology - University of Rochester (2)
- Six are working as Hospitalists for one year and then going on to fellowship in:
- Cardiology - Brown University
- Cardiology - Thomas Jefferson University
- Gastroenterology - Dartmouth
- Hematology/Oncology - University of Tennessee
- Infectious Diseases - Cleveland Clinic
- Pulmonary/Critical Care - Boston University
- One will do a year of fellowship in Palliative Care, followed by a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship, both at the University of Rochester
- One is beginning a career as a Hospitalist at the University of Rochester Medical Center
- One is teaching in a medical residency program in Japan
- One is taking time with her family before practicing primary care internal medicine
